Good Morning! I am in Wisconsin now. I've made 3 trip to PEI this year and my husband joined me there this summer. Right now I am in the process of getting ready for the North American Sea Glass Association festival which is being held in Erie, PA on Oct 17th and 18th. Hope to see some of you there. My Sea Glass Family on PEI

Good morning from PEI. My husband and I were here for the wonderful Sea Glass Festival held in Wood Island in July. About 2500 people came to the event held on Saturday. I had a booth there along with my family. In all we had 5 tables. It was so much fun meeting so many sea glass enthusiasts.

Richard LaMotte with his wife Nancy and their 2 children Shelly and Greg were there as well. Richard spoke on Friday night and was there to autograph his books and answer questions about shards all day Saturday. It was a busy time for him, but he was so well received...we hope he will be back again for another festival next year.

We'll be returning to Wisconsin on August 5th unless plans change. We collect sea glass every chance we get! It's so beautiful here; wish you could be here!

I'm back in Wisconsin, enjoying my time with my husband, and the signs of spring are everywhere: the lilacs will bloom in a few days, my tulips look great and the trees are showing their full color.

I was able to collect sea glass on PEI and now I am marketing my products to shops in Wisconsin. Keep posted while I soon make another trip to PEI. The sea glass festival there is July 17th and 18th at Wood Island Lighthouse. It should be a great event. After that we will have our family reunion in Souris. It should be a busy summer.

I haven't forgotten my blog. I recently spent 5 weeks on Prince Edward Island because my 95 year old mother was ill. She is doing much better but requires 24 hour care in her home, so I am going back there for the month of April.

In spare moments, I will be sea glass collecting, and I will continue to add pictures to this blog.

Some of my many small pieces of cobalt and cornflower blue sea glass.....can you imagine how many times I bent over to pick up one of these? I am in the middle of sorting these into 2 piles so that I can match them up later for post earrings.
